Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Shifaa AI app and website. By using the service, you agree to them.

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Template notice. This page is a clear, good-faith starting point describing how Shifaa AI works. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before launch. Some specifics (entity name, jurisdiction, contact details) are marked for completion.

1. The service

Shifaa AI is a mobile clinical assistant that helps doctors and clinic teams document visits, manage patient flow, and support clinical decisions. The service is provided by {{LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME}}.

2. Clinical responsibility

Shifaa AI provides clinical decision support only. It does not provide a diagnosis, is not a medical device, and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. You, the treating clinician, are solely responsible for all clinical decisions and patient care. AI suggestions, drafts and red-flag alerts are aids to your judgment that you must review before relying on them.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be a qualified healthcare professional, or authorised staff of a clinic, to use clinical features.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for obtaining any patient consents required in your jurisdiction for recording and processing patient data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service unlawfully or for any unauthorised purpose.
  • Attempt to access another clinic’s data or circumvent the service’s security or isolation.
  • Rely on AI outputs as a final clinical decision without your own review.

5. Plans, billing and the free tier

Shifaa offers a permanent free tier and paid plans (Pulse, Rhythm, Continuum) billed per doctor. Plan limits and current prices are shown in the app, in your local currency. {{Insert billing, renewal, refund and cancellation terms.}}

6. AI features and sub-processors

AI features are delivered using Anthropic and OpenAI as sub-processors, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disable AI features at any time with the in-app kill-switch.

7. Intellectual property

The app, website and their content are owned by {{LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME}}. Patient and clinic data you enter remains yours; you grant us the rights needed to process it to provide the service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated and limit our liability as set out here. {{Insert jurisdiction-appropriate warranty disclaimers and liability caps — review with counsel.}}

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service and its users.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of {{GOVERNING_JURISDICTION}}. We may update them as the product evolves; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
