Differential diagnosis support — with the reasoning shown.
Shifaa AI suggests ranked differentials with confidence levels, surfaces red flags first and cites the guidelines behind every suggestion — then steps back. It assists your judgment; it never replaces it.
- Not a diagnosis — you decide
- Cited & confidence-scored
- AI kill-switch included
Suggestions referenced against recognised guidelines
Evidence on the table, decision in your hands.
Ranked differentials, scored
For the presentation in front of you, Shifaa suggests a ranked differential list with an explicit confidence level on every entry — so you can see how strongly the evidence supports each possibility, not just a name. Each differential comes with the investigations that would confirm or exclude it.
Red flags surfaced first
Chest pain/ACS, stroke, subarachnoid haemorrhage, meningitis, hypoxia and more — flagged before anything else, with the findings that triggered them.
Citations you can check
Suggestions reference recognised guidelines — WHO, NICE, AHA, ESC, Cochrane — so every line of reasoning can be verified against the source, not taken on faith.
Ask while the patient is still in the room.
Streaming Q&A grounded in that patient’s SOAP note, vitals, chronic conditions and allergies — not a generic chatbot’s guess. Switch to a no-patient-context mode for general clinical questions between visits.
Answers cite their sources — and you weigh them.
Illustrative conversation. Decision support only — the doctor decides.
Decision support, with medicine’s rules built in.
Shifaa AI is not a diagnostic device and never acts on its own. These boundaries are product design, not fine print.
Suggestions, never decisions
The AI proposes; it cannot diagnose, prescribe or sign. Every clinical decision is made by you, on your judgment.
Reasoning shown, always
Confidence levels and citations are attached to every suggestion — you can see why something was suggested and check the source.
A kill-switch in your hands
A global AI kill-switch and daily spend caps keep AI use bounded, transparent and fully under your clinic's governance.
AI is decision support — not a diagnosis. The doctor stays in control.
Decision support, explained honestly.
Can the AI diagnose my patients?
No. Shifaa AI is clinical decision support, not a diagnostic device. It suggests ranked differentials with confidence levels and citations, and flags red-flag presentations — but the diagnosis is yours. The doctor reviews the evidence and makes every clinical decision.
Where do the suggestions come from?
Suggestions are generated from the patient context you've recorded (SOAP, vitals, conditions, allergies) and referenced against recognised guidelines — WHO, NICE, AHA, ESC and Cochrane — with citations shown so you can verify every line of reasoning.
Which red flags does it detect?
Critical presentations including chest pain/ACS, stroke, subarachnoid haemorrhage, meningitis and hypoxia are surfaced before anything else, together with the findings that triggered the alert. Red-flag detection supports your triage — it doesn't replace it.
Can I turn the AI off?
Yes. A global kill-switch disables AI features instantly, and daily spend guardrails cap usage. AI in Shifaa is opt-in by design — the queue, records, vitals and prescriptions all work without it.
